I'm really delighted to be one of the 2022 Critical Mass finalists. Congratulations to fellow finalists and many thanks to the pre-sceening team (Elizabeth Avedon, Donna Garcia, Julian Lucas, Debra Klomp Ching, Lia J. Latty, Peter M. I am happy that Metamorphosis #4 is one of the 50 images selected by juror Liz Wells for Texas Photographic Society’s flagship traveling exhibition, TPS 30: The International Competition.
Liz Wells is a distinguished UK-based writer, curator, and lecturer on photographic practices whose research centers on landscape photography, people as related to place, and environment.
The exhibition will be held at the Center for Contemporary Arts in Abilene, Texas from Jan 13 to Mar 12, 2022.
The Worldwide Photography Gala Awards (‘WPGA’) was launched in 2009. They organize various juried international competitions for professional and amateur photographers. I entered WPGA’s 16th Julia Margaret Cameron Award competition, juried by Barbara Davidson and Elisabeth Biondi, and am thrilled to receive:

I remember sports psychologist, Peter Usher, encouraged us to stick inspiring phrases on our walls to remind ourselves to be positive. I need to revive this practice!
